General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Goes Missing After Horrible Discovery – Gladys Adds Kidnapping to List of Crimes?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones’ curiosity and concern could lead her down a troubling path. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is a good friend of Maxie’s, so it’s easy to see why she’s so worried about her.
Maxie fought hard to visit Sasha in the July 27 episode, but Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) acted like it was best to let the mental health professionals deal with Sasha’s fractured mental state right now.
Of course, Sasha wouldn’t be in this Ferncliff mess at all if it weren’t for Gladys and Dr. Damon Montague’s (Darin Toonder) plot.
Now Sasha is at their mercy – at least until someone figures out what’s going on and comes to her rescue.
Since Maxie cares so much about Sasha’s well-being, she could grow suspicious if Gladys keeps trying to push her away.
Maxie may eventually realize Gladys must be up to no good, so she could spy on Sasha’s twisted mother-in-law or even secretly record her.
Perhaps Maxie could take a page out of Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) private investigator playbook and do some snooping that results in a shocking discovery.
Will Maxie ultimately find out exactly what Gladys and Dr. Montague are up to? If so, that could put a target on Maxie’s back.
There may be some scenario where Maxie scores proof that Gladys stole money to pay off her gambling debts and then schemed with Dr. Montague to orchestrate Sasha’s giant setback.
If that’s the case, Gladys could easily knock Maxie out and stash her somewhere to keep her from blabbing.
Just when it seems like Gladys can’t go any lower, she manages to sink even further and commit worse transgressions.
At this point, Gladys will do almost anything if it means concealing her horrible secrets and keeping Sasha in this awful situation.
GH fans have probably noticed that Maxie’s family is getting more airtime lately.
Felicia, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Georgie Spinelli (Eden Harker) and James West (Gary James Fuller) were all featured in the July 27 episode.
Maybe the show’s boosting Maxie’s family presence in preparation for her to go missing.
Gladys might kidnap Maxie and hold her against her will, so that could lead to questions and growing fears for Maxie’s loved ones.
It could also leave a trail to follow that would hopefully lead back to Gladys! We may see the walls close in on Gladys soon – and when that happens, she’s bound to do increasingly wild things that she can’t take back.
This might even give Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anders) an opportunity to step up and play the hero, which would be a good way to restart a romance with Maxie.
