Thaís Ramone from 90 Day Fiancé is living her best life since she was last seen on season 9 with her husband, Patrick Mendez. Thaís is a model from Brazil who met former weightlifting champion Patrick on a dating app. Patrick was visiting his extended family in Brazil and looking for someone to teach him Portuguese. Thaís and Patrick connected quickly and although the American man wasn’t faithful to Thaís when they were dating, she still got engaged to him and moved to the U.S. Things didn’t go smoothly for Thaís in season 9.
Thaís butted heads with Patrick’s brother, John McManus, who lived with them. Thaís still didn’t trust Patrick and was tracking his location. Meanwhile, Patrick refused to share details of his finances with Thaís, and on the other hand, Thaís had not told her father that she’d come to the U.S. to get married. The couple ultimately resolved their issues to have a fairytale wedding in Florida, and revealed they were expecting a baby during the Tell All. Patrick and Thaís welcomed a baby daughter, Aleesi Ramone Mendez, in November 2022.
Thaís Launched A New Business In America
Thaís became a businesswoman in October 2022 when she launched her first company called Thaís Ramone Brazilian Swimwear. Thaís wanted to bring a unique product from Brazil to her customers and revealed the swimwear was handmade in her motherland. Thaís is well known among fans for her beauty and her lustrous, long hair. She revealed the secret to her mane, and it was a hair oil that she promised would give her fans much-needed growth, shine, and thickness. Thaís launched the So Shine Hair Oil in May 2023. She mentioned that it would strengthen hair, increase hair shine, prevent breakage or split ends, and was for all hair types.
Thaís Came Back To 90 Day Fiancé
Thaís did not join any 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs directly after season 9. However, she did come back to TV screens eventually. When asked if she could provide fans with any details about a possible comeback in 2023, during an interview with Monsters&Critics, Thaís replied, “Yes maybe, I can’t say more.” As it happens, Thaís has been announced as one of the cast members for 90 Day Diaries season 5. Thaís will star alongside Patrick in the spin-off which premiered in Monday, January 8, 2024. In Diaries, the cast members film themselves in their day-to-day lives as they navigate new challenges in their relationships and experience major life milestones.
After her appearance in 90 Day Diaries, it was revealed that Thaís and Patrick were selected as cast members on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? season 8. Their storyline involved Thaís and Patrick taking their daughter to Brazil to meet Thaís’ family for the first time. While there, Thais encouraged Patrick to set boundaries with his dad, whom Thais thought was taking advantage of Patrick financially. Moreover, Thais urged Patrick to finally ask her father Carlos for his blessing on their marriage. Eventually, Patrick and Carlos bonded, and Thaís could breathe a little easier.
In a plot twist, Patrick’s brother John joined them in Brazil, and he made a bad impression on Thaís’ friends, with one even throwing a drink at John. Thaís and John butted heads like usual, but their differences were called out at the Tell All, with both parties demanding more respect from each other.
John and Thaís were able to bury the hatchet, but it’s hard to say if their brother and sister-in-law relationship has stayed on the up and up.
Thaís Is Showing Off 38 Pounds Weight Loss
Thaís has been on a fitness journey since she welcomed her baby in November 2022. She has been working hard to regain her pre-pregnancy model body. Thaís’ hard work is starting to show its results within a year. In November 2023, Thaís posted a video showing her before and after a dramatic weight loss. Thaís revealed she lost 38 pounds in one year and that she was “happy with the change and my effort so far.” The 90 Day Fiancé star revealed she had high blood pressure after pregnancy, and she wanted to change that by taking the baby weight off.
In Happily Ever After? Thaís also revealed that she got a boob job and that Patrick wanted her to go bigger than she did. Thaís also admitted to getting lipo on her neck to achieve her new snatched jawline. Thaís does insist that she lost her significant weight naturally.
Thais & Loren Brovarnik Are Feuding
Thaís and Loren got into a nasty spat at the end of the Tell All. Thaís was complaining about Loren being fake, as she was disgruntled that Loren talked badly about her during Pillow Talk episodes. The 90 Day Fiancé stars had a heated exchange as Loren was exiting the Tell All to catch a flight rather than staying in the shared house with the other couples. Thaís called Loren “selfish” and told her she was not better than anyone else. Since the fight, Thaís and Loren stopped following each other on Instagram, and they have not ended their disdain.
