Steve Moy got married to Noi Phommasak in Married At First Sight season 14 in Boston, and there is a lot to report about his life after the whirlwind show. Many fans loved the down-to-earth couple for their immediate chemistry and believed they would be one of the few couples to stay together after the show. However, they had more than a few obstacles to overcome before Decision Day. Steve and Noi were one of five couples that got married in Married at First Sight season 14. The entire season did not go smoothly for any of the five couples.
The other four were Alyssa Ellman and Chris Collette, Jasmina Outar and Michael Morency, Lindsey Georgoulis and Mark Maher, and Olajuwon Dickerson and Katina Goode. Alyssa and Chris were the first to divorce after only 12 days due to “good person” Alyssa not liking the way Chris looked. All the other couples said yes to each other on Decision Day, but most of the relationships looked very different come the Reunion. Jasmina and Michael parted shortly after Decision Day, as did Lindsey and Mark. Katina and Olajuwon are the only couple still together today, though they’ve broken up several times.

Noi’s Immaturity Showed
Steve and Noi seemed like another successful Married At First Sight matching, as they were so happy with who they got matched to. Steve was 38 years old and Noi was 33 years old, but the pair seemed to be in similar places in their lives where they were both looking to settle down.
Steve had just gotten back from a months-long road trip, and the matchmakers thought his spontaneity would bring out Noi’s adventurous side while she would help ground him.
Unlike other season 14 couples, like Alyssa Ellman and Chris Collette, whose marriage was over as soon as she saw him, Steve and Noi had some shining moments. Steve and Noi had similar personalities, as they were not usually the loudest voices in the room, but they had some problems over communication and expectations (via Lifetime.) The big issues they encountered were Noi leaving their shared apartment after “Noodle-Gate,” Steve not currently having a job, and the pair not being on the same page about their feelings after Steve had not said he loved Noi yet.
Another major obstacle the pair ran into was Noi’s immaturity. When the Noodle-Gate incident happened, Noi left her and Steve’s shared apartment and gave him the silent treatment. Her behavior over something so minor was a major red flag. Moreover, Noi seemingly bashed Steve on social media and then denied that her well-aimed posts were about him, leading Steve to call Noi out and tell her she needed to communicate better. Noi also wanted to keep her apartment and not move in with Steve after the MAFS experience. Furthermore, Noi wanted three kids and that was a lot for Steve to take in.
Steve and Noi’s issues were only made worse by Noi’s actions. Steve and Noi did say yes to each on Decision Day, but they announced their divorce in July 2022, just six months after their season aired. Noi was messy on social on social media about the divorce while Steve made a statement that was respectful.

Steve is a software developer and engineer, but he had not had a job since getting laid off in December 2020. He revealed that he was working as a freelancer in between jobs to make some extra money. He has a YouTube channel where he teaches code, but he has not made new content in the past few years.
Steve also has his own website, where he shared that he has also been a music producer and wedding DJ. Steve is also spending time after Married At First Sight with his family, and he describes himself as a fun uncle. He has a passion for traveling and likely spent the time before he was in the public eye continuing his travels across the U.S. Steve also wrote a book, Life by Design, which is about personal growth, Furthermore, he started a podcast, The Steve Moy Show, with his now-girflriend Mindy Shiben, who was on Married at First Sight season 10.

Steve and Mindy sparked dating rumors in February 2023 when he visited Mindy in San Diego. The pair seemed to go Instagram official just a few months later in May 2023. Since then, Mindy has been a regular part of Steve’s Instagram feed. Steve is obviously smitten about Mindy, as his captions represent his admiration and adoration for her. While Steve couldn’t find love on Married at First Sight season 14 with Noi, he found it with another alum.
