What Happened To Lindsey Georgoulis After Married At First Sight Season 14?

Married At First Sight star Lindsey Georgoulis has found a new beau after her marriage to Mark Maher, which resulted in a divorce. Lindsey, a 34-year-old healthcare project manager, debuted on Married At First Sight season 14, hoping to find her better half after years of being unlucky in relationships. Lindsey, who was very close with her grandparents, wanted to create something similar to their marriage of over seven decades, and the experts believed she could achieve this by matching her with 37-year-old Mark, the General Manager of Cyclebar and the CEO/Founder of SwitchUps.

Lindsey and Mark’s relationship started very positively, but it soon became apparent that their personalities didn’t precisely complement one another. Lindey’s energetic, controlling, and harsh personality was too much for Mark to deal with, and it wasn’t surprising when their marriage ended in a divorce after the Married At First Sight season 14 finale. However, Lindsey has since moved on from that disappointment, judging by her recent announcement.

Lindsey’s dream of building a romantic life, even seemingly close to her grandparents’ 70-plus years of marriage, finally became possible when experts matched her with Mark. At the altar, Lindsey and Mark looked very excited, exchanging marital vows, and their mutual attraction was evident with their passionate kiss, which was reminiscent of a couple deeply in love, not two people who had only just met. Lindsey and Mark connected over their love for cats, similar values like punctuality, and the fact that they didn’t get on very well with their mothers.

However, despite what looked like a match made in heaven, Mark was skeptical about their compatibility due to Lindsey’s often overly guarded behavior and demanding nature. Meanwhile, Mark also had trouble dealing with Lindsey’s overly enthusiastic nature because, despite his reservations, Lindsey, being the optimist, always believed things would work out. Sadly, despite saying yes on Decision Day and all the enthusiasm that preceded their relationship, Mark and Lindsey’s marriage ended in a divorce.

Lindsey Was MAFS Season 14’s Most Controversial Figure

Lindsey’s Divisive Nature Made Her Unpopular

Despite getting plaudits for how optimistic she was about her marriage to Mark, Lindsey was also considered one of the most controversial figures of the season. Mark’s gentle behavior meant he was always trying to avoid conflict, unlike Lindsey, who never shied away from saying degrading things about her husband. During the MAFS season 14 after-party, Lindsey faced one of the producers, saying, “I hate my husband … he’s a pathetic loser.” Lindsey proceeded to trash Mark’s career, sexual performance, and infested apartment.

In April 2024, after more than a year of dating, Lindsey announced her engagement to fiancé Ray, sharing a picture with her Instagram followers.

Lindsey’s quick temper and messiness were also displayed during the couple’s getaway game night in a game of ‘who is most likely to’ alongside their MAFS season 14 co-stars. During the game, the question of ‘who is most likely to start a fight’ saw the group pointing at Lindsey, but Lindsey didn’t find it amusing. Lindsey started attacking some of her co-stars, including Noi Phommasak and Steve Moi. When the group pointed out she had lost the game, Lindsey verbally abused the group and even confronted Mark, her regular punching bag, for walking away.

Lindsey Is Now Engaged

After Lindsey and Mark’s marriage ended, the MAFS star moved from Boston to San Francisco, where she met her boyfriend, Ray. In April 2024, after more than a year of dating, Lindsey announced their engagement, sharing a picture with her Instagram followers. In a series of images, Lindsey and Ray beamed with smiles as she showed off her ring to the camera. In an interview with People, Lindsey declared that something better was in store for her after MAFS, noting, “I took a leap of faith and a little hope, and it landed me the man of my dreams.

Meanwhile, Lindsey described the moment in detail, explaining that Ray got down on one knee during a trip to Cancún, Mexico, and the couple plans to wed in the summer of 2025. Lindsey also spoke of how Ray surprised her during a photo shoot on the beach before taking her to dinner and a show. Lindsey talked about how she was living her best life and thriving and how excited she was about what the future held for her and Ray.

Are Lindsey & Mark On Good Terms?

Lindsey and Mark had a tricky road to their divorce, especially as it became clear the two were not on good terms. While Mark kept their relationship off social media, Lindsey often threw shade at Mark. During a back-and-forth with a fan on Instagram, Lindsey was accused of being rude to Mark on the show; Lindsey accused Mark of messaging her best friend, trying to cause problems, although she wasn’t bothered (via Critics and Monsters).

Nonetheless, when Lindsey and Mark appeared on the MAFS Boston: Where Are They Now episode, the couple had some issues to resolve after their divorce. Mark was offended by some of the demeaning comments Lindsey made about him on the show, and Lindsey took responsibility for her words by apologizing. The ex-couples left the show, admitting their mistakes in their marriage. Mark even declared that he would always have a lot of love for Lindsey, despite how she treated him.
