Alyssa Ellman from Married at First Sight season 14 is in a different place after her appearance on the show and divorce from Chris Collette. Alyssa was immediately not attracted to Chris when she walked down the aisle and proclaimed that he had none of the qualities she asked for. She became the first Married at First Sight cast member to not spend the wedding night with their new partner. Alyssa agreed to go on the honeymoon but shot down any attempts Chris made to try and get to know her and salvage their relationship.
Ultimately, Chris asked for a divorce only twelve days after their marriage. Alyssa went on to say that she was “robbed of the experience,” and viewers watched her throw several fits about being paired with Chris. Alyssa was painted as a Married at First Sight villain but repeatedly and famously defended herself by asserting that she was a “good person.” During the “Where Are They Now” segment, Alyssa went on a date with Married at First Sight season 13 alum Ryan Ignasiak but got mad and broke things off after she found out he was friends with Lindsey Georgoulis.
Alyssa Has Reinvented Herself in Texas
Married at First Sight season 14 took place in Boston, Massachusetts. However, Alyssa made it clear that she loved Southern appeal and style, as evidenced by the cowboy boots she paired with her wedding dress. Furthermore, during the show, Alyssa expressed her interest in moving to Texas, a move which she has since followed through with. In Alyssa’s Instagram bio, she touts her location as being in Texas, along with a smiling emoji with a cowboy hat on. Alyssa’s Instagram page is private, so it’s hard to determine exactly where she is in Texas and what she’s doing for work and fun.
Alyssa Is Still A Dog Rescuer
Alyssa did manage to show a little bit of her good nature while she was on Married at First Sight season 14. Her love of dogs and mission to help rescue as many as possible was a big thing she talked about. Her Instagram bio also shouts out that she is a “Dog Rescuer” who is “Rescuing dogs all over the world.” Alyssa provides a link to her website where she refers fans to her fundraising initiative for dog rescuing, her LTK fashion shop, and her Amazon storefront. Not much is known about her love life post-Married at First Sight experience due to her keeping things private on social media.
