LPBW fans slam the mom of three for violating ‘Mother Nature.’

On Instagram, Tori Roloff shared a photo of herself holding a starfish that she found on the beach. It was on her Instagram Stories, so it’s no longer visible on her page. But enough fans saw it before it disappeared 24 hours after she posted it.

On Reddit, fans discussed this move and had a lot to say about it. LPBW viewers were worried that she kept the starfish out of the water for too long, putting it in danger of suffocating and dying. Someone said, “Tori, I know the starfish is pretty but it’s a known fact not to pick up starfish or other wild life from their habitat and starfish can die if taken out of water. You are 32 years old. You know better.”

On the other hand, a few fans are rushing to Tori’s defense and pointing out that she may not have known any better. Someone else pointed out that this isn’t common knowledge. Another added that it’s fine to take starfish out of the water for a short time as long as they aren’t left out.

According to Isla Contoy Experience, starfish can live out of water for three to five minutes. However, the source notes that they can die from stress if they are handled too much. Hopefully, this starfish survived.
