Todd Chrisley is going gray, Savannah confirms: ‘They don’t sell hair color’ in prison

Savannah Chrisley revealed that her dad, Todd Chrisley, has let his hair go gray while serving his 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida.

“First off – news flash – they don’t sell hair color in commissary, so of course his hair is gray!” Savannah explained on Tuesday’s episode of her “Unlocked” podcast.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum added that even if he wasn’t in prison, she would tell him to “keep it that way.”

“It looks good! He’s got a great prison barber, he’s this Puerto Rican guy, he’s very kind, he’s got tattoos from his face down,” she continued.

Todd’s oldest daughter, Lindsie Chrisley, previously teased the hair transition on an April episode of her podcast, “The Southern Tea.”

“My last visit with my dad, I couldn’t stop telling him how great that he looked,” Lindsie raved. “He looks very very good. I told him, I said, ‘Even your hair looks better, a little bit longer and a little bit grayer.’”

Savannah, 25, also said that speculation her dad’s “guilt is eating him alive” and that “he’s ready to admit to his faults” is “not at all true.”

The Chrisley’s lawyer Alex Little added on the podcast that he’s only seen Todd, 54, be “relentlessly optimistic” behind bars.

“I think he is doing what he needs to do to be a good model prisoner and get along with the folks that he’s there with, the people who have to become friends and part of your community, but he’s focused on what he needs to do to win the appeal,” Little said.

Todd and wife Julie, 50 – who is in the midst of her seven-year sentence at Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. – are currently in the process of appealing their conviction.

However, in the meantime, several people in the Chrisley circle have detailed their “terrible” living conditions since they reported to their respective prisons on Jan. 17.

One of Todd’s attorneys ay Surgent recently claimed to TMZ that his client is being photographed while sleeping and that people are destroying his mail.

The couple’s children have also been vocal about their lives behind bars – with Savannah and her brother Chase even alleging they have no air conditioning and live with snakes.

“Now they both have no air conditioning … they’re both in states where it gets 100-plus degrees, and there’s no air conditioning,” Chase said on a July 25 episode of Savannah’s “Unlocked” podcast.

Savannah also claimed that Julie had “rattlesnakes just casually slithering on the floor in front of her,” but Chase corrected her that it was some kind of “poisonous snake” – but not a rattlesnake.

“I don’t care if you killed somebody – if you’re in a government facility, you should have air conditioning. That’s just, like, ridiculous,” Chase, 27, argued.

Savannah chimed in that the air conditioning is the “least” of their issues when the prisons also allegedly have “black mold, asbestos [and] lead-based paint.”

As previously reported, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie is scheduled to serve 7 years for fraud and tax evasion in November 2022.

The Chrisleys have vehemently maintained their innocence, and Savannah talked about her parent’s appeals with their new legal team.
