These Married At First Sight Season 18 Couples Won’t Be Attracted To Each Other (They Are Mismatched)
Married At First Sight season 18 is underway, and with the couples matched and getting married, there are a few mismatches that don’t seem like they’ll be attracted to each other. Throughout the history of MAFS, some couples see each other at the end of the aisle and don’t instantaneously find themselves clicking. While some couples quickly have a physical attraction toward one another, others don’t see their partners as a viable option for some time during the Married At First Sight experience. As Married At First Sight season 18 gets started, the couples are still learning about each other.
With the five couples that got matched up by the panel of MAFS experts for the Chicago season, a few seem well-suited while others don’t appear to be well matched at all. The couples, Madison & Allen, Karla & Juan, Emem & Ikechi, David & Michelle, and Camille & Thomas, are all excited at the prospect of finding their perfect match on Married At First Sight. While the cast may be ready to find their true love, the experts may have made some mismatches. Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec, and Pastor Cal Roberson may have made a mess with some of the season’s couples.
Madison & Allen
Although MAFS season 18’s Madison and Allen seem to be good on paper in terms of a match for the experts, it’s possible that in practice, the pair won’t be attracted to each other. Though it’s not clear yet if Madison and Alex will be a mismatch, it feels like a possibility that the couple won’t be one of the successful marriages on Married At First Sight season 18. Though their desires surrounding a relationship are relatively similar, there are some slight red flags in their matchup.
Married At First Sight’s experts chose to put Madison and Allen together because of the things they both described they wanted in a partner, it seems like the idea of what they’re looking for is different than the reality. Madison, who was hopeful to meet someone tall and hardworking, may not feel the same attraction toward Allen as expected. While their Married At First Sight journey may turn around, the beginning appears to be rough.
Emem & Ikechi
Although Emem and Ikechi seem well-suited on paper, some potential red flags are looming for the match. Both Emem and Ikechi shared they’re ready to settle down and get married, which brought them to Married At First Sight season 18, but that may not be the case for one side of the pair. Emem was clear and direct during the MAFS season 18 matchmaking special about what she was looking for in a spouse, while Ikechi was a bit more abstract. When it was revealed Ikechi had applied to MAFS in a different city, which should’ve been a red flag.
A MAFS Couples Swap Will Take Place
While Married At First Sight season 18 is only getting started, it’s been revealed that a couples swap will take place on the series during the season. Though it hasn’t been revealed which couples will swap spouses, two of the participants will find attraction outside of their initial match and wind up deciding to leave their current spouses for each other. With a swap on the horizon, things are going to change on Married At First Sight season 18 quickly and bring some unprecedented drama to the series.
