Sister Wives’ Leon Brown & Audrey Kriss Get Married In Secret Ceremony

Sister Wives’ Leon Brown and Audrey Kriss reportedly got married, even though the couple hasn’t confirmed the news yet. They are both transgender, with Leon coming out in 2022 and Audrey in 2021. The couple went to college together and became engaged while attending the 2019 Women’s March in Washington, DC, after dating for two years. Sister Wives season 18 is currently airing on TLC.

According to InTouch, Leon and Audrey got married in Colorado Springs, Colorado, last fall, on October 29, 2022. The U.S. Sun provided more insider info after the outlet got a copy of the marriage certificate. The couple did not have a judge or any other officiant oversee the momentous occasion. Instead, the ceremony was deemed a “self-solemnized” event, which means Leon and Audrey essentially officiated their own wedding, and witnesses were not required in the room.

Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Confirms He Didn’t Attend Leon’s Wedding

The specific location of the wedding ceremony isn’t completely clear. InTouch reported that it was held at a Colorado Springs courthouse. However, the U.S. Sun merely said it took place at a house. With the wedding happening on October 29, the couple submitted their marriage license application 10 days earlier, on October 19. A possible reason why the public is just finding out about their marriage is because it was only last month, at the start of July 2023, that their marriage certificate and license were put into the record.

What makes the whole situation even more intriguing is that Leon and Audrey’s wedding appears to have been done in secret. It doesn’t seem like any of their Sister Wives family members were in attendance. The only official info on this front is the confirmation of two people who were not there: Kody Brown and Meri Brown. Meri was at Disneyland, which she posted about on the day of the wedding. As for the patriarch, “Kody has not supported Leon’s transition. He’s very much estranged from them,” which came from a source close to Kody, according to the U.S. Sun.

Furthering the speculation over the secrecy surrounding Leon and Audrey’s wedding, neither of them has posted any photos, videos or messages on social media to mark the big day, even all these months later. The closest Instagram post to October 29 from Audrey was on October 11 to celebrate National Coming Out Day; their next post wasn’t until December 31. Leon had similar social media activity, posting to Instagram on October 13 and then not again until January 1. Now that the news is public, it will be interesting to see if either Leon or Audrey post about their wedding and marriage on social media.
