NCIS: Origins – New Cast Members Added To Franchise Prequel
According to Deadline, Julian Black Antelope and Patrick Fischler have been added to the NCIS: Origins cast. The franchise prequel is premiering on CBS this fall.
Fischler, known for his role on Mad Men is set to play Special Agent in Charge, Cliff Walker. He’ll oversee the NIS Pendleton Office, while Prey star Black Antelope steps into the role of Kai Blackrock, Chief Medical Examiner.
NCIS: Origins – The Cast So Far …
Black Antelope and Fischler join NCIS: Origin cast members already announced, which include Mariel Molio, Kyle Schmid, Diany Rodriguez, and Tyla Abercrumbie; with Austin Stowel playing a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
The show takes place in 1991, following Gibbs, a beginner special agent at the new Camp Pendleton office and on a team headed by the iconic Mike Franks.
In addition to Mad Men, Fischler has also appeared in Happy!, Lost, Southland, Mulholland Drive, Once Upon A Time, American Fiction, Nash Bridges, and much more. He most recently was in the 2023 drama, The Mill. As for Black Antelope, fans may also recognize him for his work in The Secret History Of: The Wild West, Thunderbird, Blackstone, and Tribal, among other projects.
NCIS: Origins – Gearing Up For An Explosive Premiere
As of this writing, no official premiere date has been announced for the new show; however, as it is officially a part of CBS’s 2024 fall schedule, it should hopefully debut sometime in September or October of this year. As per reports, it is set to take over the canceled NCIS: Hawai’i’s time slot on Mondays at 10 p.m. (ET), following the Mothership show.
More actors will likely be announced to NCIS: Origins as the show’s premiere draws closer. In the meantime, fans can stream all 21 seasons of the original NCIS show on Paramount+ to stay occupied until the big debut date arrives.
