Jephte Pierre and Shawniece Jackson were introduced to Married at First Sight viewers in Boston during the sixth season of the Lifetime program. It hasn’t been an easy road for these two, as fans are aware. And, early on in their marriage journey, watchers immediately called Shawniece out for doing a lap dance for her new husband on their wedding day.

As fans of Married at First Sight will recall, the couple split up soon after Shawniece Jackson learned she was expecting. And, during their time apart, Jephte Pierre continued to date. And, it was clear that they had a rockier start than most couples on the franchise.

Jephte & Shawniece Haven’t Always Seen Eye to Eye on Family

Even after welcoming Laura into the fold, the Married at First Sight pair hasn’t always been on the same page when it comes to expanding their family. Indeed, Jephte was adamant about having a lot of kids, preferably close in age – especially because he comes from a big family.

As for Shawniece, even though she has been open to adding more children into the mix, she didn’t want to feel pressure to do it all by a certain time.
