Married at First Sight: Amber Bowles Married the Season 9 Villain
As longtime Married at First Sight fans will remember, Amber Bowles was paired with former basketball player Matt Gwynne during Season 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina. But, after the initial attraction and chemistry wore off, things went from bad to worse for these two.
The way Matt saw it, Amber was too needy. But, even after making it official and tying the knot at the altar, Matt preferred to go out – leaving his new wife waiting at home. And, if that were not enough, it didn’t take long for the cheating allegations to surface – especially after Matt purposely left his wedding ring at home before his nights out on the town.
And because of this, Matt fast became the Season 9 villain in Charlotte. Because, as longtime viewers know, every season seems to have at least one. Unfortunately for Amber, she got stuck with the bad boy.
But, with Jamie Thompson and Elizabeth Bice recently calling it quits, that leaves only Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie as the last couple left standing from that Married at First Sight season.
Amber Picked Herself Up in a Big Way Since Divorce
Of course, one of the interesting aspects of Married at First Sight as a viewer is seeing how cast members respond after going through the humiliation of a bad marriage on national television.
And, in Amber Bowles’ case, she has come back stronger than ever since that setback years ago – and she has certainly had a glow-up since. In addition to traveling and enjoying life, Amber even built her dream home.
It’s safe to say she has done a lot since her divorce from Matt Gwynne was finalized. And, after everything she went through, she gained a lot of sympathy from Married at First Sight fans because of it. And, she has clearly turned things around in a good way since.
Does Married at First Sight Celeb Have a New Man?
In addition to seeing how Married at First Sight cast members bounce back after a divorce, the other thing viewers are curious about is who these divorcee cast members end up with once they decide to put themselves back out on the dating scene.
And, based on recent updates from Amber Bowles, she recently shared cozy pics with a new guy during her recent travels. From the looks of it, Amber was in Florida with this latest mystery man. And, it looks like they got extra close while kayaking as well.
As it turns out, this isn’t the first adventure Amber Bowles and new guy Kevin have gone on. Back in June, the pair went hiking in Colorado. Interestingly, the only thing that Kevin says on his social media is that he is an “aspiring astronaut”. But, if nothing else, it’s clear that he and Amber bonded over their love of adventure and the outdoors.
So far, it doesn’t look like there are wedding bells just yet for these two. But, after everything Amber went through with Matt, the vast majority of Married at First Sight fans are glad to see her happy.
