The stakes are raised for Detective Elliot Stabler when his partner, Olivia Benson, is kidnapped by the criminal. Stabler feverishly tracks down his partner. When he finds her, the subject attempts to enact a Milgrim experiment with Stabler and Benson, which sees him forced to torture his partner. Stabler is wrecked by the idea of inflicting pain upon Benson and is relieved the test is a hoax, and he is able to recover her unscathed.
