And of course, the actress, who is best known for her role as Alexis Davis on the hit ABC soap, certainly had some interesting things to say about the Donald Trump assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
There’s new footage making the rounds on social media that shows Trump ducking as bullets graze his ear. The former president was quickly swarmed by Secret Service agents, who dragged him into a vehicle.
Screams from the audience rang out as the scene unfolded. There also appeared to be blood on his face.
She took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “1 of trumps 1st acts as Prez was to make it easier 4 ppl with mental illness to buy guns. Trump promised NRA in Feb “that if elected, no one will lay a finger on your firearm’ & then defied them to ban bump stocks.”
“Add to that his penchant 4 inciting violence. Cause meet effect.”
Of course, many of Nancy’s fans and followers had a lot to say about the matter.

Some commented with, “You are sick. He is a human being, a father, a grandfather. Your hateful speech towards a man you don’t know contributed to this.”
“Nancy how about asking for prayers for the former president and the other people shot tonight, instead of spewing hatred for the man.”
Another critic wrote, “This is a @GeneralHospital actress who is basically comfortable with saying it’s okay for Trump to get shot today, not to mention the other two victims. How is this permitted, @abc?”
“If Biden was shot today, and the roles were reversed what happens?”
And then there was this comment as well, “If you are not deploring political violence first, no matter your political views of Trump, then you need to re-evaluate what you are saying.”
