General Hospital News: Tyler Christopher’s Sister Shares Her Side Of Guardianship Drama

Most fans know by now the situation that is causing a ton of stress for actor Tyler Christopher (former Days Stefan DiMera and ex-GH Nikolas Cassadine). Bloomberg Law continued its series on guardianship, placing a spotlight on Tyler and his very personal story. Mr. Christopher’s, Susan Asmo Baker, placed him under guardianship in January 2020 while he was in rehab.

The soap actor alleges that Baker misused his finances while he was under guardianship in Indiana.

General Hospital News – The System Is Broken

Tyler took to social media with a link to the Bloomberg Law story, shortly after it was published. He explains why he went public with his guardianship story. He notes that “sharing” is part of the healing process, especially if it will help change a “broken” system.

Christopher adds that this Bloomberg Law story isn’t about him, but rather paints a picture of what could go wrong. The actor hopes it can shed some light on how some people can take advantage of their power situation and ignite some change when it comes to these circumstances.

GH News – Susan Amos Baker Defends Herself

Recently, Ms. Baker sent an email to Bloomberg Law defending her stance on the situation. She notes in the email that if she hadn’t stepped in as her brother’s guardian, he would be dead by now. In addition, she also agreed to pay for forensic accounting to look into her spending while she was Christopher’s guardian.

It’s hard to know who is telling the truth in this situation, as both parties seem quite adamant about their stance.

It’s like a real-life soap opera storyline and mirrors a current General Hospital (GH) arc as mother-in-law Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) continues to take advantage and manipulate her guardianship over daughter-in-law Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
