General Hospital Alum Michael Easton Extends Special Thankyou To [THESE] Leading Ladies

It have been some really hard few days recently for General Hospital fans, having to say goodbye to Michael Easton. Especially after all the decades that he has been on the soap. Portraying as many as three different characters. And that’s exactly what puts him in the unique position of having shared screen-time and storyline with multiple other GH stars.

Michael Easton recently took to his Instagram to extend a special note of thanks to three of his leading ladies that he had a chance to work with on the ABC soap. Namely, Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth), and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane). The Daytime star wrote a special sentimental message for his co-stars, along with a few video clips.

Starting with Finola Hughes, Michael chimed “I’ve benefited from working with some of the best but over the past nine years three actors got stuck working with me more than all others and I would like to thank Rebecca, Becky and Finola for putting up with me. ” Furthermore, he added that he is a better actor and person due to the time he spent with them.

Michael also asserted that Finola Hughes is truly iconic, but also an incredibly compassionate actor who is intensely present in every scene. Also adding that Finola could teach a masterclass on how to carry yourself on and off the stage. Moving on to Rebecca Budig, Michael shared that she is an amazing actor with deep soulful eyes that you can get lost in.

Speaking about the clip of them he chose, Michael explained that it was the goodbye scene between Finn and Hayden and Rebecca’s ability to show her pain and vulnerability in one moment and then shift her resolve and be able to walk away from everything in her life is so incredibly heartbreaking to watch.

“I am in awe of her talent and if you bother her enough she might release “About a Girl” and you’ll be blown away by her performance,” he wrote. Then, about Rebecca Herbst, the General Hospital alum wrote that “Becky” is one of those incredibly rare actors that can tell entire stories in their eyes.

He then went on to add that, “I like this scene because without saying a word you know that she’s feeling something but we never know exactly what it is and we can’t look away from her.” Honestly, we agree with every single word Michael Easton wrote about his precious co-stars. And we are certain that even they feel the same sentiments for him, as he does for them!

Here’s wishing Michael all the best for all his future endeavors.
