However, they continue to say they are innocent and were framed for their financial fraud case. Amidst this, their attorney Jay Surgent made some interesting revelations. It was regarding what “could happen” if their case progresses. As per him, “the 11th Circuit Court of Appeal can reverse the District Court verdict.”
If not, then the court of appeal can either remand the case for hearings that didn’t occur during the trial. Chrisley: Todd’s Home Confinement Application Denied! Living In Poor Conditions In Prison
Jay Surgent, i.e., Todd and Julie Chrisley’s attorney, mentioned another detail. He stated that Todd had applied for “home confinement.” He did so because of the poor living conditions in his prison. As the ex Chrisley Knows Best star is in Pensacola, Florida, the temperature has been going up more than a hundred degrees! The lawyer argued that they weren’t asking for Todd and Julie to get treated differently. Instead, they wanted every inmate in the prison to be treated fairly and live in favorable conditions.
After the officials denied Todd’s home confinement application, there is an “internal investigation” going on to determine the reason behind it. Apart from Surgent, Todd and Julie’s kids Chase and Savannah have also talked about their parents’ inhumane living conditions. They, too, mentioned their parents living without air conditioning, molding in their prison, and snakes slithering near their beds.
