Following a failed marriage with his American wife, Kalani Faagata, and ongoing employment struggles, Asuelu chose to return to his homeland to find solace and reconnect with his roots.

A fan from our Facebook group recently spotted Asuelu at the Lava Hotel in Samoa, enjoying lunch with friends. Despite looking as handsome as ever, Asuelu appeared exhausted and rough, as if life hadn’t gone according to plan. This sighting sparked curiosity and concern among fans eager to know more about his current situation.

Contrary to some rumors, Asuelu was not deported. He made the decision to return to Samoa on his own terms—a significant step for him after facing numerous challenges in both his personal and professional life in the United States.

His marriage to Kalani was fraught with difficulties, including allegations of infidelity and a lack of support in their relationship. These issues eventually led to their separation, leaving Asuelu to navigate life on his own.
