Nicole feels comfortable with her new husband in spite of the two being strangers just days ago. Her revelation of something that happened in the past is a bit shocking.

Nicole Lilienthal and Chris Thielk make sense as a match on MAFS. Both arrived in Nashville from big cities. She’s from New York and he’s from Chicago.
They both own dogs that they love. And love to talk. Leading her to worry if they would drown each other out. So far, the pair is hitting it off.
Before saying ” I do”, Nicole got a bit wild at the bachelorette party. Chris is known to friends and family as a nice guy. And they worry that he may get hurt. But they are excited to move forward in the experiment. And to get to know more about each other and what led them to this point.
The Couples Talk with Their New In-Laws
The couples have made it through their first nights as newlyweds on Married at First Sight. Nicole and Chris enjoy breakfast together in bed. They wonder what their first fight will be. Chris Thielk makes her emotional when he tells her she’s a natural beauty. She almost can’t believe it’s real.
The couples meet up with their new in-laws over brunch. Nicole’s dad has some concerns. He admits Chris is a nice guy. But jokes that so are serial killers. So, he wants to make sure Chris is committed to this process and to his daughter. He tries his best to convince his new father-in-law that he’s in this for real.
Chris’s mom lets Nicole know that he’s a stand up guy. He’ll cook for her and take care of her. His family worries that he can sometime be consumed by his relationships.
Nicole assures them she will encourage his autonomy. She also promises to be sensitive to Chris and look out for his feelings.
Married at First Sight: Nicole Admits a Shocking Hurt from the Past
The couples get word they will head to Jamaica for their honeymoons. They gather to travel together. Everybody seems to be getting along just fine. The MAFS couples are eager to begin their first adventure together. The arrive to the resort and start off with cocktails and cheers.
On Married at First Sight, the newlyweds explore their rooms and the amenities. But for Nicole and Chris things get a little deep.
Chris admits his last vacation with a woman was not a good time. The woman was distant and wouldn’t even hold his hand. He feels closer to Nicole already. And she promises to hold his hand.
Nicole confides a bad experience. She says one of her “first relationships was toxic.” So much so that he told her she was unworthy of love. And he actually burned her with a cigarette.
She reveals the scar on her arm. Chris is visibly shocked and upset. He comforts Nicole and sends a message to her exes that it’s their loss. And he’s proud to be her husband.
