Caitlin Clark Teammate Lexi Hull Drop BOMBSHELL Statement After Playoff EXIT

The Indiana Fever had an incredible year, and one player who really stood out, just like I predicted earlier in the season, was Lexi Hull. I mentioned that she could be like Caitlin Clark’s best friend on the court because of how she played back at Stanford, and that prediction came true.

Lexi broke into the starting lineup and became a major contributor, helping the Fever make it to the playoffs. Now she’s earned recognition that proves the WNBA sees just how valuable Lexi Hull is—not just to the Indiana Fever but to the league as a whole.

We’re heading to Indiana to talk about this. Some might not think it’s a huge deal, but finishing fifth in the voting for WNBA’s Sixth Player of the Year is pretty awesome. She even got a first-place vote! Tiffany Hayes from the Las Vegas Aces took home the award with 38 first-place votes.

But Lexi’s journey is what makes this achievement so special. At the start of the season, she wasn’t a major player, and people weren’t expecting much from her. But as the season went on, she stepped up in a big way, especially with her three-point shooting.

I’ve been saying it all along: Lexi Hull would become a key part of the Fever. Go back and check out my earlier videos and comments if you don’t believe me. Those who said she wasn’t going to be a good shooter or an important player were proven wrong. She went from being underestimated to being considered for one of the top awards in the league.

What an incredible transformation! Congratulations to Lexi Hull for an amazing season. She’s shown everyone that she belongs in the WNBA and, even more so, in the starting lineup for the Indiana Fever. Great job, Lexi!

Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark was announced as the Associated Press Rookie of the Year for 2024 on September 22. Thursday, the WNBA named her the league’s Rookie of the Year, making the Indiana Fever star two for two in prestigious individual honors.

On Saturday, Reese mentioned that there’s a lot on her mind, but right now she’s minding her business. “I really just be minding my business ’cause it’s a lot to mind,” she said, sharing this message with over 637k followers on X. She has a strong following on social media, with over 8 million combined followers on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
