The Indiana Fever had an incredible year, and one player who really stood out, just like I predicted earlier in the season, was Lexi Hull. I mentioned that she could be like Caitlin Clark’s best friend on the court because of how she played back at Stanford, and that prediction came true.
Lexi broke into the starting lineup and became a major contributor, helping the Fever make it to the playoffs. Now she’s earned recognition that proves the WNBA sees just how valuable Lexi Hull is—not just to the Indiana Fever but to the league as a whole.
We’re heading to Indiana to talk about this. Some might not think it’s a huge deal, but finishing fifth in the voting for WNBA’s Sixth Player of the Year is pretty awesome. She even got a first-place vote! Tiffany Hayes from the Las Vegas Aces took home the award with 38 first-place votes.
