90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Michael Ilesanmi has finally revealed his relationship status after several leaked screenshots showed the Nigerian man supposedly engaging in flirtatious conversations with other women. Michael and Angela Deem, who met online in 2017, gained popularity with their reality TV debut in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2. Angela was a 50-something woman with six grandchildren who wished to marry the 30-year-old Michael she’d been chatting with for four months. Angela also knew that Michael was talking to other women at the same time.
However, Angela didn’t want to give up on Michael. She knew that no younger man in the U.S. was going to give her the attention that Michael was giving her. She also got to be a reality TV “queen” thanks to her relationship with Michael. All she needed to do was promise Michael a U.S. visa. Her thinking she had the upper hand in their relationship led to Angela being aggressive towards Michael and treating him cruelly. Michael got what he always wanted when he arrived in the U.S. in December 2023 and fled from Angela’s Hazlehurst house in February 2024.
Angela Declared She Was Single In February 2024
Angela had decided at the Tell All itself that she was going to get her marriage to Michael annulled. She wasn’t convinced by what the private investigator had found out about Michael. Todd had proved that he didn’t have any proof of Michael being a scammer or cheater. Angela told her fellow cast members that she was single, yet Michael kept insisting that they were still a couple. Michael could have made up his mind to leave Angela as soon as he saw her claiming she was going to take “her” visa back.
Michael’s 2022 Affair With An American Woman Was Quite Scandalous
One of Angela’s blogger friends had informed her about Michael’s affair with a 31-year-old American woman in 2022. Angela had informed her co-stars about it on the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 Tell All. She always suspected that Michael was using Instagram to chat with other women and her suspicions had come true. Michael assured Angela he would delete the app and everything was great between the couple until Angela came back to the U.S. from Nigeria and received screenshots and audios of messages exchanged between Michael and the woman.
“And the way he was talking to her was the way he would talk to me on the voice note. So I knew that was him. Telling her to pick up the phone, baby I love you,” Angela told the producers.
Angela Believed Michael Was Dating A Woman Named Cheetah
Angela almost divorced Michael, but he convinced her it wasn’t an affair but just him having some fun. Angela had a chance to cancel Michael’s visa application at that time, but she didn’t. She also learned about Michael being involved with a woman named Cheetah from Nigeria in HEA season 8. Angela referred to Cheetah as Michael’s “girlfriend.” Michael had told her he met Cheetah in his “Paradise Men” group because she wanted a visa made for her husband. When questioned about it during the Tell All, Michael said he was helping Cheetah get a K-1 visa for her mother!
Michael Posted A Mystery Woman’s Hand On Instagram
In May 2024, Michael returned to social media by creating a new Instagram page. He started posting selfies showing his changed look. He had slimmed down and started dressing better. Michael tried not to reveal much of his surroundings as he didn’t want to give away his location to Angela, but he posted some cryptic pictures, including one of a woman holding a flower in her hand. A fan asked Michael if that hand belonged to his new girlfriend. They accused him of jumping into another relationship so quickly. Michael told them, “I have no GF!”
Michael Was Linked To A Woman Named Meggan
In July 2024, Michael reposted a Story shared by a woman with the username @shhmeggan on Instagram. The video showed Michael wearing glasses and dancing in his kitchen (via 90daysaddict.). The woman captioned her Story “Only Michael and I know what we have endured allow us to enjoy ourselves.” Michael quickly deleted the Story, but fans were quicker in taking screenshots. Meanwhile, Angela mentioned a woman that Michael knew from New Jersey on the Tell All. Fans who combed through Meggan’s profile show she had posted pictures of the Fire & Oak at the Westin Hotel in Jersey City.
However, Megann later confirmed that she wasn’t dating Michael and Michael did the same after revealing that Angela had tried to contact Megann, probably wanting to start a fight. While Megann became a closed chapter in the Michael Ilesanmi dating timeline in the U.S. Angela now found actual proof that Michael was indeed talking to women through social media. Angela’s friend, blogger John Yates, shared screenshots of Michael’s leaked Instagram messages to an unknown woman. The chats showed Michael asking the woman if she was married and her saying, “Yes.”
The woman’s answer didn’t stop Michael from making plans to meet her. He told her he was separated and when she asked him if he was “not dating,” Michael told the woman, “Not now.” Michael was seen giving the woman his address in the next screenshot revealing he lived in Houston now. The woman had agreed to see Michael in his area and their last set of messages showed she was 40 minutes away from their decided location.
Michael Told His “Babe” About His Accident In July 2024
The married woman wasn’t the only person Michael was flirting with after leaving Angela. YouTuber MovingMAD also shared some screenshots of Michael’s chat with a different woman. They showed Michael calling the woman his “babe” and “hun.” He was telling her that he was living in a four-bedroom apartment with his friend and was moving out soon to a place of his own. In July 2024, Michael allegedly got into a car accident and sent pictures of his damaged vehicle to the woman. He admitted it was his fault and told his girlfriend he didn’t have car insurance.
Michael Is Revealing His Current Relationship Status
After Michael was accused of using his GoFundMe money to get himself a new car and insurance instead of using it all for his legal fees as he’d promised, Michael shared a statement addressing these “rumors” and confirmed the money wasn’t used for personal expenses. He also added that while he had engaged in communication with women who reached out to him “in the past,” he assured his fans that these interactions never progressed beyond mere communication “without any personal contact or meetings.” Michael implied Angela was targeting him to “undermine” his “character and strong moral compass.”
