General Hospital comings and goings suspect Lulu Spencer may finally wake up from her three-year-long coma soon. If so, her return will shake up lives everywhere on the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Comings and Goings: Lulu Spencer Return Ahead?
GH casting updates predict Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) might be close to waking up. Recently, her ex-husband, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), brought her daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), to visit her at the long-term care facility in Manhattan.
Of course, Charlotte misses her mother a great deal. And she was telling her how much it would mean to her if she woke up. Also, she told Dante that Lulu’s house is vacant and quiet, and her mom would want someone to live there.
Meanwhile, on General Hospital, Lulu’s bestie, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), is looking for a house. And soon, she gets an incredible offer.
So, it seems likely that Dante might offer the house to Maxie. Then, if Lulu awakens, she can always live in the house with Maxie and her kids once she’s released from the hospital.
Also, it’s the perfect time for Lulu to resurface because Dante is in a wonderful place with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). And Lulu would definitely shake things up for them on General Hospital.
Dante still doesn’t know Lulu was still in love with him before she collapsed. And that she was going to turn down Dustin Phillips’ (Mark Lawson) proposal because her heart still belonged to Dante.
So, if she wakes up and professes her love to Dante, he might be torn between Lulu and Sam. And it would threaten “Sante” and cause a lot of angst and drama for the happy couple on General Hospital.
GH Casting News – Which Lulu Returns?
If Lulu does return to GH, that raises the question — which actress will portray the legacy character? Will it be Julie Berman or Emme Rylan? Emme has played the role of Lulu since 2013. So, most likely, if the character returns, they will bring Emme back.
However, the General Hospital could always throw fans for a loop and bring Julie back. Or they could choose neither actress and recast the role with someone new. Either way, it would be wonderful to get Lulu back. And that could very well be the direction they’re going in.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Dr. Montague Out?
In other casting news, awful shrink Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) could be on his way out soon. No doubt, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) fans want him gone. He and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) are drugging and sabotaging Sasha.
And now she’s locked up at Ferncliff Asylum for the criminally insane. And once Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finds out what they did, the shrink may be a goner — and so might Gladys.
In addition, Ferncliff nurse Mandy (Daisy Wang) recently joined the General Hospital cast, and she’s tending to Sasha at the asylum.
Also, Mason Gatlin‘s (Nathanyael Grey) lackey, Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall), is out. Recently, Mason killed him, and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) found the body.
