Todd Chrisley Uses Son Chase To Complain About Prison Mold And Misery

Todd Chrisley hasn’t tried to hide his desperation to get out of prison as soon as possible. And so the Chrisley Knows Best alum has used his children to publicize his complaints.

For instance, Todd’s son Chase Chrisley complained that his parents Todd and Julie Chrisley have struggled because they reside in separate prisons.

But Chase didn’t stop there, also claiming that his parents reside in unhealthy environments. However, Todd’s son didn’t mention the fact that his father ended up in prison because of tax fraud, therefore creating his own problems. Get all the details below.

Chase Chrisley – Claims Parents Face ‘Really Tough’ Imprisonment

Todd and Julie Chrisley have not talked to each other in more than 200 days, according to their son Chase Chrisley.

And he shared that life for the Chrisley Knows Best alums has become “really tough for them. Because my mom and dad are obsessed with each other,” added Chase via MSN.

Todd, 54, and Julie, 50, began their prison sentences in January. And based on the tax fraud charges, Todd received a 12-year sentence.

While he serves his time in Florida’s Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Julie will live for the next seven years at FMC Lexington in Kentucky.

However, amid their parents’ prison sentences, the rest of the Chrisley clan will star in a new reality TV show.

And Chase, Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley, Chloe Chrisley and Nanny Faye will serve as the cast.

But Jay Surgent of Weiner Law Group LLP claimed Todd plans to “contribute in every way that he can” to the show.

Chase Chrisley – Complains About Todd’s Moldy Prison

But Chase shared that his parents face a “terrible situation” in prison. “The conditions are awful,” he added. “And if you read all these headlines they say the polar opposite. But it is not the truth and we’re going to be spreading a lot of awareness to that as well,” he added via Hollywood Life.

And Chase thinks that his parents unfairly got portrayed as residing in “this country club prison. And that’s just not the case at all,” he declared. “My mom’s sitting up there with no air, and my dad’s facility has no air. They both have black mold, lead-based paint, the roof is falling in on both facilities. So it’s just, it’s just a lie.”

But Chase also shared that he looks forward to returning to reality TV. “With everything that we’ve been going through, there’s been a lot of people that have been talking and kind of trying to tell our story for us,” he explained. “So we were like we might as well get out there and tell it ourselves. We’ll address everything that we’re going through on a day-to-day basis with our new reality. Updates on my parents and our family situation and just kind of trying to navigate the waters of that.”
