90 Day Fiancé’s Shekinah Garner Gives Shocking Relationship Update After Argument With Sarper Güven (SPOILERS)

Shekinah Garner from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has revealed a shocking update about her current relationship with Sarper Güven following their painful argument in season 6. Shekinah is a 41-year-old aesthetician from Los Angeles who was introduced to fans in season 5. Shekinah had met the 44-year-old aspiring model, actor, and personal trainer Sarper on a dating app in Turkey. Shekinah found it hard to trust Sarper despite her love for him because he kept bragging about how he’d slept with 2500–3000 women before Shekinah came along.

Shekinah took to Instagram to confirm that she and Sarper are still together.

Shekinah also revealed that she’s still not moved to Turkey permanently but has been making back-and-forth trips from the U.S. to Istanbul. Shekinah posted a romantic selfie with Sarper on their joint Instagram account and captioned it, “reunited and it feels so good.” She also added the hashtags, “#ldr #longdistance #longdistancelove #longdistancerelationships.” Sarper commented on the post, “Priest life is over” jokingly. Shekinah also shared a sweet photo with Sarper on her Stories as they went for lunch together to have Turkish food.

Will Sarper & Shekinah Ever Get Married & Have Kids?

Shekinah’s somewhat spoiled her storyline with Sarper while their current storyline is all about their relationship problems. Shekinah was highly disappointed after seeing the state of Sarper’s apartment. It was not only unkempt, but Shekinah was frustrated when she saw that he had not gotten rid of his bottle shelf, which symbolized his past relationships. The bottles were all empty and represented Sarper’s past one-night stands. Shekinah admitted that she was disappointed and hurt because Sarper was holding on to the bottles so tightly. It meant that Sarper wasn’t going to let go of his past just yet.

Shekinah and Sarper’s relationship goals do involve a future together, but a marriage seems to be out of the question. The couple feels like they don’t need to be married to be happy together forever. According to Shekinah, marriage is a “cultural conditioning and dying institution.” However, she would still say yes if Sarper asked. Unfortunately, Shekinah and Sarper don’t agree on having kids. Shekinah is done having babies and Sarper wants to have a biological child of his own since he’s not at all in touch with a son who is 25 years old now.

Even though Sarper refuses to part with his past, it does not affect his relationship with Shekinah. He isn’t lying when he says that he’s given up on his bad boy ways for his girlfriend. Sarper now knows that Shekinah thought the empty bottles were highly disrespectful and doesn’t think he should be keeping his little black book with all the women’s names he has slept with either. It’s not the end of the road yet for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple and it’ll be interesting to see if they end season 6 with a surprise engagement.
