Deavan Clegg from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way recently shared that her son, Taeyang, was rushed to the hospital due to a high fever amid his battle with childhood cancer. Fans may know that Deavan and Jihoon Lee’s son has been struggling with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and undergoing chemotherapy since May 2022. After undergoing various treatments for months, Deavan shared the good news about Taeyang’s health in February 2023. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise star shared that she finally had end date of Taeyang’s treatment as August 2024.
But Taeyang is now facing a setback in his battle with cancer. Recently, Deavan shocked 90 Day Fiancé viewers by posting the latest update on her son’s health. The 26-year-old Utah mom posted a note on her Instagram, revealing that her son “has been hospitalized again.” She wrote that her baby boy is on liquids and antibiotics after suffering from a “high fever of 103.6.”

Deavan added that Taeyang’s counts are low, which greatly worries her. She wrote, “It looks like he will be in the hospital for a while.” The young mom is confident that her son will get through this like he did before.
Prayers Are Pouring In For Taeyang
Fans are extremely worried after hearing about Taeyang’s health. They are praying for the young boy’s speedy recovery and hoping he will soon return home. An Instagram user wrote (via johnyates327tv), “God Bless him with your healing hands.” Another user called this incident “super scary” and added, “So much love to this warrior.” Someone else chimed in, “May the Father cover him in healing arms and His grace.” Many fans don’t appreciate Deavan’s controverisal actions on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1 & 2, but they are still supporting her thoughh this diffcult time.
It is unfortunate to see Taeyang and Deavan struggle again just as they begin enjoying a normal life. In May 2023, Elicia Clegg (Deavan’s mother) talked about how Taeyang was improving. She wrote that her grandson’s lab work was looking good. Therefore, it’s tough to see that the little one is now back in the hospital mere weeks later. Deavan’s fundraiser for Taeyang has still not reached its goal. Hopefully, 90 Day Fiancé viewers will unite and help the little boy get the treatment he needs.
