90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Michael Ilesanmi’s supporters are calling out a franchise villain for his offensive video about the Nigerian cast member. Angela Deem doesn’t seem to have a lot of friends among cast members for obvious reasons, but some seem to like her despite her personality. Angela has had screaming matches with stars like Usman Umar, Yara Zaya, and Liz Woods on the show. The ones who support Angela are cast members who themselves have been deemed villains. These include names such as Lisa Hamme, Big Ed Brown, and Scott Wern.
90 Day Fiancé star Kim Menzies has called out Scott Wern for making an “absolutely disgusting” video about his “sister” Angela Deem’s ex, Michael Ilesanmi.
90 Day Fiancé fanpage alexa_pomegranate_90day shared a recording of a video posted by Scott where the Florida man is accusing Michael of using fans’ donations to buy himself a Mercedes.
Scott captioned his video, “Donations please! 50,000” and tried to mimic Michael’s accent as he recorded himself standing in front of a jeep and saying things like, “I think it’s important for you to know my expenses in America or astronomical. I need to pay many things,” and “I want to make in my Jeep more practical to go to attorney.”
Scott Wern Jokes About Being In “Toxic Relationship” With Angela Deem
Kim shamed Scott for his repulsive video. She even called him racist when she wrote, “From someone who dated a Nigerian, this is terribly racist.” Kim wrote that she doesn’t comment a lot, but she found that video from Scott to be “******* disgusting.” Kim added that Scott is someone who needs to be “truly canceled.” Daniele Gates also slammed Scott in the post comments. She wrote, “He is such a piece of s***, honestly. Everything that happens to him, he deserves.” However, it hasn’t stopped Scott from continuing to poke fun at Michael on his IG.
Scott posted a different video where he created a poster using a GoFundMe logo with the text, “Help me raise $680,000 to cover my attorney fees!” He then filmed himself trying to buy a luxury car which was going to cost him $680,000. He added, “Every penny helps” and in his caption wrote, “I also had a toxic relationship with Angela.” He joked that he had done some dirty dancing with Angela which had hurt his back. He wanted to suggest that Michael had lied about wanting money for his legal fees and that, in reality, all he wanted was to buy a Mercedes.
What Scott didn’t bother to verify was that the car was never Michael’s. He was just standing in front of a friend’s car to get a photo clicked.
Scott’s “joke” was not only tone-deaf and racist, but also hurt the feelings of domestic abuse victims. Michael has accused Angela of allegedly abusing him, which is why he’s seeking a divorce from her. Several spin-offs and even the recent season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has had scenes featuring Angela misbehaving with Michael. Michael left Angela because she treated him like a nobody. Michael couldn’t bear her cruel behavior anymore. Scott trying to find humor in the situation is disrespectful, and he’s rightfully being called out for his actions.
