90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger keeps sharing clickbait postsabout her or Azan Tefou being dead, but she’s also posted some “news” in the past that’s truly horrified her Instagram fans. Nicole is from Florida and starred in 90 Day Fiancé season 4 with Azan from Morocco in her reality TV debut. Nicole had met Azan online and his initial reaction upon seeing her predicted how their relationship would fare. Azan did not love Nicole because she didn’t meet his beauty standards. Azan body-shamed her and was using her for her money and a visa to the U.S.

Nicole also showcased some questionable behavior in her relationship, such as cheating on Azan and disrespecting his culture. She ignored her daughter May for a man she hardly knew and expected May to address Azan as her dad. Nicole and Azan were expected to split after calling off their engagement thrice. Nicole finally confirmed their breakup in July 2021. Nicole has not starred in any new 90 Day Fiancé show since then, but she has been the talk of the town these days for her posts which claim she’s died.

Nicole has been in the news lately for some posts on her Instagram that keep insinuating that she’s died. The pictures are screengrabs from the show but mostly show up with a black-and-white filter and the caption asks fans to click on a link in Nicole’s bio. These posts have been creating massive confusion among Nicole’s followers, who think that she’s dead after they see them. Nicole hasn’t used her social media page to post anything else since August 2023, which somehow makes this fake news believable to her followers.

However, these posts are deleted from Nicole’s profile after 24 hours. The attached links also provide no information about what happened to Nicole. It’s usually an old article about celebrities who have passed away in a certain year and have nothing to do with Nicole whatsoever. This does conclude that Nicole is alive and well and is sharing these fake posts herself, so fans can click on them, and she can make some money through the clicks. Nicole has been playing these mind games with her followers for a while now. However, they’re not always related to Nicole dying.

Nicole’s daughter is now of school-going age, but back when Nicole starred in 90 Day Fiancé for the first time, May was just a toddler who Nicole had abandoned to go meet her Morrocan boyfriend. Nicole proved she didn’t care about her daughter then, and did it again in April 2024 when she posted an old picture of her with her child (via 90dayfianceupdate) captioned, “pray for May” with a broken heart and praying hands emoji.

Nicole knows that enraged fans will flock to the comments section to shame her for her ridiculous money-making tactics. That’s why she makes sure the comments are always turned off for these posts. As expected, the article attached to the link she shared had nothing to do with May. It was an old 2020 article about Nicole and Azan. Nicole is trying to milk her 10 minutes of fame while she’s still relevant. However, she could do other things to make money, like Cameo, or brand endorsements on Instagram instead of sharing such disgusting news about her own kid.

Nicole has shared similar posts in the last few years. She’s suggested she was back together with Azan and even posted fake sonography images to claim that she was pregnant with twins. Nicole once spread rumors about Azan having died. She first did it in October 2020. Since Azan isn’t active on Instagram at all, it’s easy for fans to believe that something might have happened to him. Nicole had posted a photo of her and Azan with the hashtag “RIP” and a broken heart emoji. As expected, it was linked to an article about celebrities that had recently died.

Nicole Shared A “Devastating” Update About Angela Deem

In January 2022, Angela Deem became a victim of Nicole’s clickbait scandal. Nicole shared a fake update about Angela being sick and needing prayers. She had expertly used a photo of Angela from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? from when the Georgia woman was in hospital, recovering from weight-loss surgery. It was black and white and blurry, but fans could tell it was Angela if they looked closely. Nicole captioned the photo, “Pray for Angela AFTER DEVASTATING update.” The article linked was about Angela’s breakup with Michael Ilesanmi which had nothing to do with her health.

Nicole didn’t stop posting questionable content about Angela despite having tricked fans into believing something had happened to the 90 Day Fiancé star before. She shared another fake post about Angela with the text “[praying hands emoji] for Angela” and a swipe-up link. The attached picture was not of Angela. It was a random woman who seemed to be lying in a hospital bed and lighting up a cigarette. Interestingly, Angela, who is known to confront co-stars who badmouth her, did not say anything to Nicole. Perhaps Nicole could have stopped the fake posts if Angela had intervened.

Nicole Tried To Make Money Off Jason Hitch’s Death

The only 90 Day Fiancé cast member who confronted Nicole on Instagram about her inappropriate behavior was Cassia Tavares. In December 2021, Nicole shared a picture of her and Azan from the show and captioned it, “#RIP Heartbroken to confirm he DIED #LinkInBio.” Nicole was referring to Jason’s death. Jason had passed away from COVID-19 a few days ago and Nicole wanted her followers to think it was her own ex, Azan, who had died. Nicole making Jason’s death into a clickbait article was not something Cassia was going to tolerate.

Jason’s ex-wife Cassia directly tagged Nicole on her Story and called her out. She slammed her for trying to make money off Jason’s death. Nicole posted a picture of Loren looking tired and captioned it, “Pray for Loren AFTER DEVASTATING update #LinkInBio” while disabling her comments. She shared it again on her Stories asking her fans to “click here.” The article was about Loren talking to her followers on Instagram and thanking them for having reached out to her after it was revealed her husband Alexei was diagnosed with COVID-19.
