Faith met Loren from Las Vegas after he downloaded some Filipino dating apps. He connected with Faith almost instantly. Faith and Loren never met in person, but they chatted every day for almost half a year. Loren liked that Faith was hardworking, had a tight family, and was pretty perfect in every single way. Loren felt very deeply for Faith.
Faith shared more details about her life when the cameras captured her, busy at work at Bay Area suites in Manila. Faith explained that she was the officer in charge of the housekeeping department. She also looked after events coordination, maintenance, and kitchen duties. Faith works as a magician on her days off. She’s also a professional puppeteer and a makeup artist. Faith loved her hotel job the most because it allowed her to be herself at her stable job and also gave her a place to stay for free. Hence, she was able to send money to her family.
Faith Calls Herself a “Ladyboy”
Faith revealed that she is male by birth and that her name used to be Rodnie. However, Faith used to feel like she was a little girl ever since she was young. The laws in the Philippines are very conservative, so Faith was not allowed to change her gender, but she explained how there are a lot of beautiful ladyboys and trans women in the Philippines. Faith’s city also hosts a prestigious trans beauty pageant. Faith was 15 years old when she first participated in the pageant. She was crowned the winner of “Miss Shining Hair.”
Faith’s Struggles With Growing Up As A Trans Woman In The Philippines
Since her victory at the beauty competition, Faith knew that she wanted to live the rest of her life as a ladyboy. She explained that she refers to herself as a ladyboy as she looks like a girl but has not had any operations. Faith has not undergone any surgery and is not taking any hormones since it’s very expensive. Faith also doesn’t wish to get bottom surgery, known as transfeminine or feminizing genital surgery, which is a procedure that reconstructs male genitalia into female genitalia.
“If I have a surgery, I just want to love my b****s, left and right,” she joked.
Faith is very comfortable with the way she is. However, Faith added that it’s very difficult for one to date in the Philippines if they are a ladyboy. She said she had been single for 30 years. Loren was Faith’s first boyfriend. She thought her life changed because she met a “special someone” in Loren.
Why Did Loren Allen Get Attracted To Faith?
While Faith fell in love with Loren because he gave her respect, Loren had other reasons to date Faith. Loren identifies as gynosexual, which means he finds femininity attractive, not necessarily the gender. Loren was barely 10 years old when he made up his mind to date trans women. His preference was to date a trans woman with or without a penis, “preferably penis, because a penis is much more fun to play with.” Loren thought that the “energy” of a “female penis” would be different because of “usually hormones or like the way that they like take care of it.”
