General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Pulled A Fast One First And Now It’s Cyrus Renault’s Turn
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) successfully swerved not only the feds but Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), and evil nanny Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini).
But in the land of Port Charles, what goes around, comes around.
GH Spoilers: Cyrus Renault Overheard A Key Conversation
GH spoilers hint danger looms around the corner for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the form of Cyrus. Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) visited Drew in jail during a recent episode, asking Cain to do them a solid by finding out who Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) was visiting when he came to the prison last week.
While Sonny now knows that Mason and Austin’s boss is working for the feds, he still has no clue who that “boss” is, even though fans do.
Of course, Drew jumped on the assignment. It didn’t take him long to chat up with a prison guard, offering his son an Aurora internship after he graduates from Port Charles U, for some information. While Cain did this, Renault was lingering (secretly) around the corner.
GH Spoilers: Information Is Power
Cyrus doesn’t know why Drew was asking about Austin, but he may put two-and-two together. Regardless, there’s a good chance that Renault will get to the guard before he can give Drew the honest truth.
Unlike Cain, Renault won’t offer the guard anything, rather, he’ll threaten him. The misinformation could place Sonny on a wild goose chase, as he tries to figure out who exactly is “working” with the feds and targeting him.
Could this place Drew in a bad predicament? He did save Renault’s life, which means Cyrus feels as if he “owes” him, but all is fair in love and war, and the prison mob boss is always looking out for number one.
While he’s acting as if he’s changed, viewers can tell that he’s not exactly living a Godly life. In true villain form, he’s being delusional about his wrongdoings and masking them with Bible scriptures.
Sonny swerved Cyrus, but who will get the last laugh?
